Restoration & Resilience Alliance believes that restorative justice is a way of being in relationship with one another. Our mission begins with one truth: every person has dignity that cannot be earned or taken away. We hold two realities at once: People can cause deep harm, and people can heal, grow, and repair what was broken. We create conditions where rehabilitation is possible, accountability is supported, and no one is defined by the worst thing they have ever done. Our work centers healing, connection, and the full humanity of every individual and community.

R&RA is dedicated to fostering positive change and resilience within the community. R&RA likes to call our approach Radical Rehabilitation. Radical in the sense that we want to cut out the middleman--the courts and judges--and foster direct ties between the offenders and the communities they've harmed. At R&RA, we believe that the communities who have suffered harm are the best experts at determining what justice looks like for them.
